Act quick to claim these free games like CRYPTARK and The Evil Within

Need some free games for the weekend? Got you covered with a list here of some games you can claim to keep so you'll have no excuse for a boring time.

First up we have the 2D sci-fi shooter CRYPTARK (Native Linux) that's free to grab on Steam until October 21st, 5PM UTC. It also just had a free update too adding in an Easy Mode and No Screenshake options. This is because the developer is about to launch their new game GUNHEAD next month.

Over on Epic Games they're currently giving away The Evil Within and Eternal Threads until October 26th at 4PM UTC. You can use Heroic or Lutris to access these. Epic will also be giving away The Evil Within 2 and Tandem: a Tale of Shadows after those end.

If you have Amazon Prime you can also claim some via Prime Gaming including:

  • DOOM 3 (GOG) - 29 days left
  • Golden Light (Epic Games) - 33 days left
  • The Textorcist: The Story of Ray Bibbia (GOG) - 33 days left
  • Ghostwire: Tokyo (Epic Games) - 13 days left
  • Monster Prom 2: Monster Camp (GOG) - 26 days left
  • The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters - Deluxe Edition (GOG) - 26 days left
  • GRUNND (Amazon) - 19 days left
  • Hundred Days (Amazon) - 12 days left
  • Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate (Amazon) - 5 days left
  • Dexter Stardust: Adventures in Outer Space (Amazon) - 5 days left
  • + more and various in-game items too.

You can use Heroic or Lutris to access those above.

If you spot any more comment away and I can add them to the list.

Thanks for the heads up on this Liam. I own most of the GOG and Epic ones already, but I gave the codes to my friends who don't have Prime.

I didn't own The Textorcist though, but it's a shame that its DLC isn't also on sale. Cause I'd have bought it otherwise. So onto the GOG wishlist that DLC goes. lol

That's the first time I've ever logged into Prime gaming. I got the GOG codes anyway, thanks!

I've been enjoying Ghostwire: Tokyo recently, and I am reminded of some elements of SR4 in the gameplay. The only major issue I had was the flippin' Denuvo DRM which threw a Benny after I performed a distro upgrade and had to wait 24 hours to continue. All the DRM does is to penalise legitimate customers. Shame EMPRESS hasn't shown an interest in this title!

EDIT: Grammar.
