Musical logic puzzler Beat 'N' Path has a demo live now

By - | Views: 32,861

Beat 'N' Path is a game that sees you combine together your creativity and logic to create machines to play music, it looks wonderful and there's now a demo available. It has Native Linux support from BitCutter Studios Inc., who previously made Groove Gunner and Balloonatics.

In it you generate, direct, shift, and combine signals and notes by wiring components and instruments together so solve and create a wide variety of musical machines. So like, a musical Zachtronics-like perhaps? Maybe a little there. Check out the previous trailer if you missed it:

Now there's a demo live which the developers said progress made in the demo will carry forward into the full game once released.

Check it out on Steam.

Quite a fun game. The demo is easy though. But it's good to know that you don't need any knowledge of music and it's also perfectly fine if you're completely tone deaf.

The little one (who loves puzzle games, is a drummer, and has released his own music) is having a whale of a time with the demo.

Sounds like he might be old enough to resent being referred to as "the little one". But I suppose that's a parent's prerogative.

Probably. I did consciously stop referring to him as "the tiny drummer" when he got too big for that. He's 8 now.
