to give you hopefully the best experience. It's been a little while since the last one too, so maybe you've missed something great.
Each will list the ProtonDB rating or if they have a Native Linux version for players who wish to know.
Since they're Steam Deck Verified they should be download and play, with no fussing. Although that's not always the case, it's the official rating system from Valve.

I will also give a potentially honourable shout out to Fallout 4, which is getting an update on April 25th that Bethesda say will bump it up to Steam Deck Verified. But that remains to be seen. You can also grab that in the current Fanatical Fallout Bundle.

Mostly agreed. I picked up a copy of Ghostwire: Tokyo as one of Epic's free offers. At one point I had to wait 24 hours to play it as I'd changed the wine version too often whilst configuring. I believe the Denuvo cancer has since been removed from this particular game.

As of now, I've been playing Alan Wake Remastered through Geforce Now and once that's done, I'll either go back to Battlefield 1 to complete the war stories or jump into Alan Wake 2. Otherwise, it's back to the sea of installed games that I've forgotten about but need to complete before starting another round of backlog cleaning.

I'm on a comedown from playing a boatload of first person shooters the past month. I replayed DOOM, DOOM 2, Quake, Quake 2, and Heretic last month, and finished DOOM 64 and Amid Evil for the first time this month. I was thoroughly impressed by DOOM 64. In tone it's much more akin to Quake than DOOM, but the gameplay very much feels like - as I've seen some say - the "true" DOOM 3. Amid Evil was rather great too, a couple of dud episodes, but I loved how much enemy variety there was.
I'm now playing Fallout 1 for the first time. I grew up with consoles so the CRPG genre as a whole is kinda foreign to me. To be frank, Baldur's Gate 3 is my first proper foray into that kind of game, but it's given me the confidence to give these older classics a chance.
