Quoting: artixbtwD'aww. I was hoping to get card drops from ENDLESS Legend, but it seems like they were aware of the possibility of card farmers making very good use of that.

I have to ask - what do you do with the cards ?
Sell them for profit ? Do they make your profile look better ?
I honestly feel like "old man yells at cloud" but i don't get it

Quoting: EduAAAThey very generous, free game, but when you check let's see hmm, it's not the full game, it's a way to make people buy must have dlcs unless you wanna play a demo.

Not sure what you're getting at with this statement since the version of Dragon Age Inquisition that Epic is giving away is the Game of the Year edition, which includes the DLC and other bonuses.

Machinika: Museum is a complete game without any DLC offerings, too.

Of all the free offers I looked at from this article, the only giveaway with just the core game is ENDLESS Legend. There is a ton of DLC for this one. The core game is not a demo, however, and no one is obligated to buy the DLC. Of course, I am sure that the hope is that you will like the base game enough to want to purchase some of the DLC ...

Exactly, and that's the only game I've talked about, still, if you check bundle games, no one gives free money. I don't care about epic, I've never touched that shitty store because the CEO of that crappy store that is like 100 million ages away from what the store of Steam offers, talked shit and have been trying to be cool, cuz people know shit about devs, they may not charge that ammount of money that every store does to publishers, not devs, even if you are an indie dev and publisher you gonna sell more accepting 30% cut, that btw the more you sell the less they charge, it's the best bet, because most users have they games for steam. They offer also an store with forums, guides, that let's users to search games by tag, genre, gamepad support, Also not because they wanna make people happy obiously, it's an investment , they want to have people using their own OS, but well there is proton for people that preffer linux because whatever... they have steamlink, they have that shit of sharing games you playing with others, etc...

But don't start with I don't care about stores, even though if you wanna play for example some games they paid fucking much as an investment, to make people only able to buy the game on their store, at least you can buy steam games everywhere, not just on their store... I talked about a game so what the fuck I care about that EPIG freemium store, and if you don't know that it's a way to sell hundreds of unlocked and taken out of the game because yes dlcs, so that's why you can see the main game about 90% on sale and wops, they having fucking insane ammount of dlcs, just check paradox games, I'd burn them all.

And if you think cool ok, go ahead, free stuff, like CS:GO, they've made more money being a casino than developing games. Anyway, I'm not gonna do you homework, just find it yourself.

And Amazon as well right? Although this giveaway is for the GOG version of the game
Well, I downloaded Endless Legend and tried it out. I quite like it. Definitely has a good chunk of that "Just one more turn" feel. Scratches the same kind of itch as Civilization, but it's more in that fantasy vein, you've got a bit more focus on customizing and leveling up your troops and having "heroes" that lead them and govern cities.

Pointless fun.

Usually, with games with trading cards, the developers forget to set it up such that users with a free license don't get card drops. I am not even sure if it's possible to do that for games distributed with activation keys.

In any case, if you have 2 or more level 8 (?) accounts with the same game redeemed, you get one or more full sets of cards worth for free. Duplicates can be easily traded.

Why do I want them? Habit. I don't need them myself, so I occasionally gift sets to others.
