Wildermyth - Omenroad is releasing on May 16th, adding in a whole lot of extra exciting sounding content for the popular party-based procedural storytelling RPG.

If you've not played it before, you're really missing out. It masterfully blends together tabletop style RPG gaming into a video game and it really looks the part. The new Omenroad DLC gives you a whole new way to play the game! As the developers explained "For the fighters, we have a roguelike tactical challenge mode with progression across runs. And for the lovers, we have A Walk in the Unlight, a new story campaign that uses the Omenroad format to take your heroes past the edge of the Yondering Lands and into worlds beyond."

Some of what the DLC adds in includes:

  • Challenge Mode.
  • 20 new boss fights.
  • 20 new unlockable artifacts and augments.
  • New Shadow spirit and Shadow weapons to discover in both Omenroad and the base game.
  • 75 new battle maps with new objectives.
  • A “Wall of Fame” with twelve challenge-based titles for heroes to earn.
  • An extensive new Neverbefore Ball campaign to play through.

Overall, this sounds like a really fantastic addition to the game.
