Feral Interactive have now ported over all the changes from the Total War: WARHAMMER III v5.0 update, along with support for the new Thrones of Decay DLCs. The update and 3 DLCs were released on April 30th, with the Linux port being updated today - pretty good turnaround from Feral there which is nice to see for one of their last Native Linux ports.
The Thrones of Decay pack is actually 3 DLC, which you can buy together or individually. The Thrones of Decay pack introduces 3 new Legendary Lords, for Nurgle, the Empire, and the Dwarfs, usable in both the Realm of Chaos and Immortal Empires campaigns. Launch trailer below:

The 5.0 patch notes are pretty long but some of the highlights include:
- Both Empire and Dwarf have had a full sweep of their building trees to bring them up to date.
- Remastered and remade some of the old frontend videos for a variety of Legendary Lords.
- Gotrek and Felix have been reworked so that both of them are now legendary heroes.
- Ironman Mode.
- Lots and lots of bug fixes, various balance changes, UI updates and so on.
If you have a linked Creative Assembly account then update 5.0 also adds an extra free Legendary Lord for the Nurgle race, Epidemius.

While i'm glad it has a native Linux version this will be a pass for me.

I think it does not on Linux, only on Windows.

Yup, that's why we don't always get feature parity.

Well, looks like my long running save is screwed now. Also had a bunch of visual glitches (and a segfault) after update, but, that might be from my old save. Given I had conquered about half of the map in Immortal Empires, I feel rather disincentived to play much more if my saves are trash after updates.
I am sorry that you lost your save, but at the same time amazed of what Creative Assembly can get away with, and yet the player base remains stable or growing...
