Two Point Studios / SEGA have updated the popular and well-received Two Point Museum with a fresh free content upgrade. Plus, it should feel better on Steam Deck now too.

Update 2.0 is quite a big one that amongst a bunch of extra free content includes a new " Very large UI scaling" they say will be "handy for Steam Deck". Nice to see a focus on UI sizing from more developers, as some game interfaces even on big desktop monitors are simply too small.

Main highlights of what's new includes:

  • 23 floors & wallpapers
  • 2 Staff Room items & 14 Staff Traits
  • Sandbox customisation options
  • A new 360° camera and the outdoor camera can now be placed inside
  • Requested quality of life changes to staff- traits in training, and more!
  • New extra large UI (handy for Steam Deck)
  • Requested Expedition Discovery changes
  • Community-inspired security changes
  • …and much more!

See all the finer details in a post on Steam.

The game has a Very Positive rating on Steam and it has Native Linux support. Valve rated it Steam Deck Playable but not Verified due to some in-game text being too small. So perhaps this new update will get it bumped up to Verified.

This is possibly the game I'm looking forward to get and play most at the moment. I just can't stop hearing good things about it.
