Just recently, Valve updated Counter-Strike 2 to entice players to keep coming back with a new permanent weekly mission system. Additionally, a just released updated improves the game on Linux with Wayland.
For the new weekly mission system you'll get one mission each week, which will give you some bonus XP. The mission can be seen and accessed via the Main Menu and Play Menu. With the update that came May 12th, if you're on Wayland / Linux there's also a nice bug fix noted "Various fixes for running on Linux with SDL_VIDEODRIVER=wayland". Plus "Various crash fixes and stability improvements" for smoother gameplay.
