As the release of the Lenovo Legion Go S with SteamOS is approaching, multiple retailers now have it listed in the UK ready for delivery. Valve are still working on SteamOS support for it though, which is perhaps just a little worrying as seems like it's coming out of the gate pretty hot.
Today I spotted it now live for sale in the UK across these stores below.
Lenovo direct:
- Ryzen Z2 Go (1TB) - £600
- Ryzen Z1 Extreme (1TB) - £699
Lenovo list both models with 32GB RAM. Lenovo also haven't correctly updated the page for the Z2 Go SteamOS version yet. It says it has SteamOS but the rest of the store page is just like the Windows version, whereas the Z1 Extreme properly lists SteamOS in the full info outside the specifications. Seems like they're still sorting the store pages.
Very:
- Ryzen Z2 Go (1TB) - £549
Very list it with 16GB RAM.
Currys:
- Ryzen Z2 Go (5125GB) - £498.99
- Ryzen Z2 Go (1TB) - £549
Currys list both models with 16GB RAM. Curiously, they only list them on their Business store, not the normal store.
While it's good to see more devices with Linux beginning to ship, I really think the mixture of different specifications makes it more confusing for consumers.
