Luanti (Minetest) v5.12 brings SDL2, keybind settings, reviews in the content browser

Luanti (formerly named Minetest) has a big new release out with v5.12 bringing SDL2 for the Window and Input Handling along with numerous other big additions. This release has been years in the making for the switch to modern SDL2, away from the very outdated Irrlicht.

This brings a number of great additions like improved touchscreen controls, better keybind support, support for high-DPI screens, an easy full-screen toggle and more. There's also a new keybinds settings page.

They've also added in animated texture support for the UI, improved texture filtering so it's not blurry, there's a reviews tab in the content browser, new camera options for developers, better world loading and generation performance, IPv6 is now enabled by default for servers and more.

I don't even bother with vanilla Minecraft. But Minecraft with mods is fantastic. I assume with the whole concept of Luanti being that you don't need "mods" you can just have different games within the engine. Could anyone recommend a game that somewhat feels like AllTheMods or Enigmatica? Or are the games not quite to that point yet.
