With Pooh now in the public domain, of course we're going to get some weird Winnie the Pooh games. Winnie's Hole sounds a bit…you know, but it's actually a clever sounding game from Twice Different who made Ring of Pain.
Here you're fighting Winnie from within, as a virus attacking the body and mind. Poor old Pooh. You use various blocks to spread a virus in randomly generated inner worlds. The developers say it's a "union of fast-paced, turn-based gameplay which looks beyond common roguelite conventions to create a challenging new format". Additionally they say it's a "Holesome dark comedy inspired by old-school Nickelodeon cartoons" that is actually a "charming, original story with characters inspired by A.A. Milne’s classic Winnie the Pooh reimagined in a world of dark science, and styled like a Brothers’ Grimm fairytale made by Nickelodeon with an unhealthy serving of Cronenberg body horror".
Alrite, you've sold me.

Features:
- Evolve with each run - Unlock new Perks, Mutations and Virus Strains.
- Mutate your host as a symbiotic virus.
- Bodybuilding in the worst way.
- A storybook narrative which reimagines Winnie in a world of dark science.
- A fresh take on exploration, replacing the typical roguelite node map with strategic, turn-based building using a set of tetromino-like virus blocks which you can evolve and reshape.
- Dynamic battle system where each turn is an action combo for fast-paced gameplay.
- Holesome horror comedy with gritty art inspired by old school Nickelodeon and Brothers' Grimm fairytales.
I've tested the demo working great on Desktop Linux with the latest Proton 9.0-4. It's thoroughly weird but actually quite funny, as well as being ever so slightly horrifying on what they've done. Interesting game mechanics though
Save the Pooh!

A "harming, original story" eh?
@Liam: I nominate this the site's greatest typo in history!
I nominate this the site's greatest typo in history!Given the general tone, I actually assumed this was deliberate in the original.
