Storm's Brewing is the newest update for the zombie survival game 7 Days to Die, and it's one that really changes the game.
One of the highlight changes is the new Dynamic Storm System. This replaces the old weather system with one that is a lot more menacing across five different types of storms, but four of them are in specific biomes only. There's also a new Biome Progression system that have unique environment hazards to overcome. Biomes were also tweaked for their resources, giving you more of a reason to explore each of them for ore.
A whole lot more is new including an update to the Navezgane map, two new special infect zombies, zombie spawn improvements, the perks system has seen a bit of an overhaul, plus various optimizations for trees and foliage.
There's also been a big expansion to the point of interest system, with around 140 new places to explore.
On top of that there's new Discord integration, cross-play for dedicated servers, more footstep audio variety, new perk sounds, NVIDIA DLSS upscaling support has been added and so on.

It looks super complicated and hard but at least there are options according to the video. I don't like too hard a challenge and anything too frenetic. How do you all rate this game?
How do you all rate this game?It has its number of fans, for sure. I'm not one of them though. I would call it "The Extensively Boring And Tedious inventory Management Simulator". I'm no stranger to survival games where you have these inventories to deal with a lot (like maybe Rust or The Long Dark/etc), but this one takes the cake, at least that's what I felt.
After many hours of playing I realize I've spent most of the time micromanaging the inventory, rather than doing something actually interesting. Maybe it gets better, but after around 20 Hrs of staring at freakishly small boxes (and text) with myriads of crap to move around, well, I gave up.
Likely I approached the game wrong or whatever, but yeah it does feel too "super complicated" for my taste.
