Coming to Early Access later in July, MR FARMBOY blends elements of Stardew Valley with automation and optimisation. Sounds like it could be a fun idea and you can try this early too as there's a demo available.

It has all the usual elements you would expect from a more casual farming game like resource gathering, planting and selling crops, animal husbandry, constructing various buildings and more. Where it differs from others in the genre are the automation systems. You can hire workers to automate various tasks, as you build bigger and expand and eventually attempt to optimise and automate everything.

Could be an interesting one.

The Steam release is currently planned for July 23rd to begin Early Access. According to what the developer said it will only be in there for a few months while they add some more content including more buildings, new crops, new resources, objectives and so on.

I thought Stardew Valley was more about the social aspects than about the resource gathering. Still, may be interesting to see how it will hold up against Graveyard Keeper and Factorio.
