GOG are really stretching out the announcements for their 17th anniversary, with a second helping of classic games now in the GOG Preservation Program. They only just announced a few titles a day ago and now they're back with even more.

Being in the GOG Preservation Program means they will keep them working and up to date for modern systems. While they mean Windows, you'll be able to play them on Linux systems with the help of Wine / Proton. A bunch of the new additions are also on sale.

Amiga version of Moonstone is far superior, not even a competition.

Yeah, that's a statement that can be said about almost every game in that time period. I remember seeing Lemmings the first time on an x86 PC after playing it for years on my A500 and being amazed at how much worse it was.

I don't know about the other games but there's a nice open source native port of Blake Stone with QoL you can get, it's called BSTONE.

I played so much Moonstone on my Amiga 500 back in the days.
I didn't know there was a PC Dos version... The Amiga version is probably still better though :)

I take it that "support" in the context of DOS games just means slapping Dosbox on top of them?

Not to mention Freddy Pharkas is also supported by ScummVM. Fun game, but I can't see what makes it a priority.
