A first-person baller? Sydless has a fun idea with you repeatedly punching a deadly bouncing ball around rooms to take down enemies. For the Boomstock festival on Steam, the game has a demo now available and it works great with Proton on Linux.
More about it: "As Diego, a late ’90s fast-food worker trapped in a twisted anomaly at Randy’s Burger, you’ll face warped customers, shifting environments, and a reality spiralling out of control."
Sydless turns every room into a blender, arming players with a high-speed bouncing ball that grows faster and deadlier the more you punch it. The speed of it gets quite intense, with you being able to momentarily stop the ball to punch it again and give it a little aim. Quite a silly idea but it somehow works.
