Cult of the Lamb becomes a bit more of a farming sim with the new Woolhaven DLC trailer

A few days ago we got a fresh look at the ranching system in the upcoming Cult of the Lamb DLC Woolhaven, and I really can't wait to jump back into it. We're still not being given a date for when it will arrive though, other than sometime early next year.

Cult of the Lamb is truly an excellent game with such a magnificent style to it. Although I did find the combat quite difficult, especially one particular annoying boss that kicked my ass so many times I lost count. But, it's the Cult side of things I think I actually enjoyed the most out of it. Building up your little village, getting everyone to do my bidding and dealing with all the issues that arise. Still, the mixture of culting and combat is great together but it was clearly ripe for expanding.

Thankfully, the Woolhaven DLC will give you a whole lot more to do as highlighted in the recent ranching overview trailer and this has made me really excited for it. Check it out below:

DLC highlights:

• Return the lost souls of Woolhaven to their spiritual home and learn the long-forgotten history of lambkind. Rebuild the fallen town to its former glory and reclaim the mountain to restore the depleted power of Yngya, the forgotten God of the lambs. But beware: there is always a price to be paid.
• Endure harsh weather, including blizzards and freezing temperatures, that threaten your Cult’s survival. Build new structures to keep your loyal followers warm and protect them from frostbite and famine.
• Unlock ranching at your Cult base and breed rare animals that provide wool, warmth, and when times are particularly desperate, precious meat. Tame, ride, and let your followers take care of these majestic creatures.
• Venture into a new realm battered by bitter storms, crawling with creatures corrupted with the Rot lurking beneath the snow. Battle through two vast new dungeons, where the echoes of the past refuse to rest.
