MicroProse just announced they're publishing Dungeon Holdem a fusion of poker, dungeon crawling, and deckbuilding RPG mechanics and it really looks ace.

Yet another game that looks distinctly like it was inspired by Balatro, but I'm certainly not complaining. The setup and gameplay of this will no doubt be sucking away many hours from me. You'll need to master the rules of poker to win, but naturally you can do all sorts of funny things to chain stuff together for some awesome combos to bend the rules. As you go through a run you'll also get to unlock various abilities across two different characters, with hundreds of unique skills to build up your deck.

MicroProse said: "Blending the tension of a poker table with the thrill of a dungeon crawler, Dungeon Holdem captures MicroProse's legacy of games built on tactics, ingenuity, and risk management".

No release date or even mention of a demo yet so stay tuned. Loving the style of it though.
