More silly co-op games to play with friends? Yes please. RV There Yet? looks like it could be a fun time and they're working on getting it Steam Deck Verified.

What is it? You and your buddies are on your way home from a relaxing vacation but are forced to take an alternate route. Get your RV through the back country and find the exit to Route 65. A co-op adventure about driving your recreational vehicle home.

Seems it has been more of a hit than expected too. Originally made for a game jam, they turned it into a Steam release and ended up amassing over 300,000 wishlists. At launch yesterday, it managed to get over 30,000 people playing it at the same time, pretty impressive for another small developer.

In a post on Steam they noted some things they're currently focusing on:

  • Keybindings
  • Full Controller Support
  • Steam Deck Verified
  • In-game localization
  • Auto-activation VOIP Mode
  • Achievements

Could end up being a great one to play with friends alongside the likes of PEAK, R.E.P.O and other more recent online co-op games. And, since I play a big mixture between my Desktop Linux PC and Steam Deck depending on where I am and how I feel, more games that run well on both is a big plus for me and no doubt many others.

Going by the Steam user reviews players are loving it, but it's a little bit unstable. So I'll be taking a proper look after a patch or two.
