Reus 2 from Abbey Games recently had a big upgrade, and now it's Steam Deck Verified / SteamOS Compatible with full support from the developer.

What is it? It's all about shaping worlds as one of 6 powerful giants each with their own unique abilities. Your choices will determine the fate of the planet and its inhabitants. And as you progress, you'll unlock more new skills for your giants too. Humanity does its own thing though, and may even turn against you.

In the latest update that pushed it up to Steam Deck Verified the developer noted:

GAMEPAD & STEAM DECK
  • This update adds official support for gamepads and the Steam Deck.
  • The game automatically detects when its played on Deck or a gamepad is connected and switches to the appropriate control scheme.
  • Many changes to UI composition when UI Scale is at 130%, which is selected by default for Steam Deck.
  • On UI Scale 130%, the player can increase small font sizes, enabled by default.
  • Option to disable gamepad detection completely. For when you want to keep playing the PC-control scheme on Steam Deck

That's some nice attention to the little details there, especially nice to see such direct support for our favourite handheld.
