In a recent showcase video, Capcom revealed that Monster Hunter Wilds is set for multiple patches that should bring some decent performance boosts.
Performance seems to be a constant problem for the game, even on a high-end PC it has been full of issues. Perhaps these upgrades might even make it just a bit closer to playable on Steam Deck too. As shown in the Monster Hunter Showcase December 2025 showcase video, a screen capture of their plans is below:
Title Update 4 is due out December 16, so it will be interesting to see just how far those listed upgrades will push the game. However, Title Update 4 is the "final large-scale update" for the game outside of a few technical patches they have planned as noted in the image above. So they'll be mostly moving onto other games.
All that and more in the video you can view below:

Shame on you Capcom for treating your paying customers so badly.

If anyone can confirm she's OK?
@Stella Is the reason, by any chance, is that they won't accept players modding their game? 2 DRM is indeed awful, first time I hear about Capcom Protector it seems.

I've modded the game in the past to buy any item so I could complete event armor sets, So I can have longer hair for my character and try the decompressed textures to improve frame times. Tho I don't get why decompressed textures are so unstable under linux one launch it no issue the next launch suddenly it thinks the texture is corrupt. That doesn't happen on Windows.
From my understanding they did make it harder to mod their games after a naked Chung Li mod was show live at a tournament.
