This looks absolutely wonderful! A puzzle platformer that takes things quite literally with you running, jumping and building your path from puzzle pieces.

Made by developer Neon Polygons with the open source cross-platform Godot, it has a Native Linux demo available on Steam for you to try. I'm surprised I didn't spot this one until now, so perhaps you missed it too. There's just too many good games releasing and being teased all the time.

Have a little look at the demo trailer below:

More from the Steam page:

Piece by Piece is a LITERAL puzzle-platformer where each level is fragmented into puzzle pieces for you to traverse through by stitching together the level...piece by piece.

With 100 handcrafted levels, test your logic with increasing difficulty featuring unique mechanics as you progress further into the game. With its relaxing yet engaging vibe, Piece by Piece is perfect for puzzle enthusiasts and platformer fans looking to test out a unique take on the puzzle genre.

Explore unique themes that introduce new mechanics to test your logic as you progress from one puzzle box to the next. Portals, mining, rotating pieces and much more to discover!

Hybrid levels combine themes and mechanics into a single level, testing your mastery of each new mechanic. Can you make your way through all 100 levels? Make sure to collect the gold puzzle piece in each level!

A little confusing though, since there's also the game also called Piece by Piece coming from Gamkat / No More Robots. So one of them might want to change their name…
