Siren is an awesome looking Aliens inspired Doom II conversion

Taking a slower approach with inspiration taken from the likes of Aliens, the Doom II conversion named Siren looks really awesome for retro FPS fans.

In the original ZDoom forum post the developer noted:

This aims to be an experience closer to an 'Aliens' game but with the variety and gameplay benefits the rosta of Doom monsters brings. This is a slower, more perilous mod that aims to tell its story through its own set of levels.

Just recently the developer put up Siren version 0.9 along with a new trailer to show it off and wow - it definitely captured my interest right away. This looks absolutely awesome.

It should work with GZDoom / UZDoom, but unfortunately I've been unable to get the brand new 0.9 version to actually work. After a brief logo intro, it will always give me an error, which I've let the developer know about - so hopefully we can get it working easily enough soon.

Imagine if The movie Aliens got the same throwback treatment as Terminator 2D did recently. It would look something like this and bloody awesome.
