It was clear something wasn't right when IO Interactive originally released the PC specifications for the upcoming 007 First Light, and now they've been sorted.
Previously IO said the game required 32GB RAM as a minimum for 1080p at 60FPS, and the overall minimum specs for just 30FPS had a CPU that didn't even exist. Thankfully, the developer went back to correct all this and posted up some updated requirements with a note:
We are providing today an update to the PC system requirements for 007 First Light after the community flagged some inconsistencies in an earlier version of the listing.
The earlier mistake was due to an internal miscommunication leading to an older version of the specs to be shared. After a thorough re-examination and additional testing, the recommended RAM has been corrected from 32GB to 16GB, VRAM values have been updated, and the minimum CPU line has been fixed. Additional performance targets will be shared closer to launch.
We’re sorry for the confusion this caused and appreciate everyone who brought it to our attention. The updated specs are now live on our store pages, and we’re looking forward to sharing more of 007 First Light with you ahead of launch.
With the drop in the VRAM requirement too, this might actually run a lot better than expected on lower-end systems.

or maybe just an sily mistake.
in any case this game is quite ugly and i cant see why it would be that demanding
I also wonder how much of these "new specs" is here because of an honest mistake, and how much is here because of the backlash. It's hard to trust anything these days.
