Quite a showcase for Godot Engine, Road to Vostok is a hardcore single-player survival FPS that has a new trailer and release date for Early Access. Probably one of the biggest games made with Godot Engine in the genre.

Set in a post-apocalyptic border zone between Finland and Russia you have to loot and survive as you prepare to cross over the border into Vostok a "permadeath zone where one mistake can end it all". In an announcement the developer noted the launch price will be "14,99€ | 19,99€ (25% launch discount)". It has seen over 1 million demo downloads and over 600K wishlists.

Sounds like a pretty huge game overall! Some highlights from the Steam page:

Dynamic World

Time of Day

The game uses a 24-hour day & night simulation where lighting conditions change dynamically with sun and moon cycles. You can manipulate game time by sleeping, but most of the time, you will need to prepare for darkness when roaming through the game world.

Weather

The game has randomized weather states that vary from sunny to dark skies with thunder and everything in between. If you are lucky, you may even see northern lights on a clear night sky.

Seasons

If you survive long enough, the game world will shift from summer to winter, and you will start facing issues related to snow and cold. You can also choose constant summer or winter modes for your playthrough.

Events

On top of the changing lighting conditions and weather, dynamic events occur every now and then in the game world. These events vary from small ambient sounds to aerial events, like airdrops and crash sites, to faction-based special events.

You also get a customizable shelter where you save, trader NPCs that will give you tasks to do, a Tetris-styled inventory management system and you play it however you want. It's a sandbox-styled game, so you explore and fight as you wish.

I'm definitely looking forward to this one, can't wait to go exploring in it.

No crafting from looks at the demo, which i just got. No "crafting" buttons.
No unique RPG like skills or anything. But looks like game will be based around customization of weapon/character items/attachments. I hope single player will be good. Cause for multi player i got arc raiders.
