Heroic Games Launcher continues to bring improvements to run games from Epic, GOG, Amazon and more on Linux / SteamOS systems with v2.20.1 out now. Part of their previously announced plans to bring updates out more quickly, as you get a better overall experience.

Easily one of my favourite apps that's available for Linux, it makes managing other stores so much simpler. It also support macOS and Windows too.

This release solves an issue with changing Epic Games accounts, fixes an issue showing "an error has occurred" on some Linux distros, it makes the downloader smarter based on your internet connection and more.

The full changelog:

  • [UI] Show update badge on gamecard only if controller is connected by @flavioislima in #5361
