MOUSE: P.I. For Hire is arriving on March 19th and ahead of release a new trailer shows off one of the boss fights, and it really does look awesome.
What is it? MOUSE: P.I. For Hire is a first-person boomer shooter that draws inspiration from the classic cartoons of the 1930s (like early Mickey Mouse) and echoes gritty noir films of the era. The black and white visuals really look impressive, and the developer noted how they're "drawn by hand, frame by frame" to deliver a striking vintage aesthetic.
The new gameplay trailer, which arrived February 19th as part of Convergence Showcase, highlights the never-before-revealed Robo-Betty, which is just one of the unique bosses that you'll encounter in the world of Mouseburg. Robo-Betty dwells in the pits of a secret laboratory and must be taken down in an epic three-stage battle. The devs said more will be revealed "soon" about the boss fight and level, as part of early hands-on previews.
