PayPalHORSES from Andrea Lucco Borlera / Santa Ragione hit the headlines last year for getting banned on Steam and Epic Games, but they've still won the Nuovo Award. You can pick up the game from GOG and itch.io, since they didn't ban it.
Nice to see the game still get such recognition after facing such an uphill battle to be able to even sell it.

The Nuovo Award or Innovation Award is an award given at the Independent Games Festival (IGF), an annual event that takes place during the Game Developers Conference, one of the largest gatherings of the indie video game industry. The award is given to honor "abstract, shortform, and unconventional game development which advances the medium and the way we think about games". Good stuff. I didn't even know it was psychological horror when I bought it, I just wanted to see what the fuss was about. Simple gameplay, tense feeling the whole time, and I liked the ending.
