The hilarious Lucky Tower Ultimate releases 1.0 on April 16

Lucky Tower Ultimate is absolutely brilliant and thoroughly funny and the big 1.0 release is announced to arrive on April 16th. Mixing together dungeon crawling, roguelikes and comedy into something quite special - I really can't wait for the full release of this one.

It's all about exploring, dying and exploring some more. It has so many completely absurd interactions it's a total joy to play. The characters are well designed and the voice acting is great, really helps it all come alive.

For the 1.0 release they've revealed a bunch of new content:

The 1.0 launch of Lucky Tower Ultimate introduces the Endgame content, daring all knights to undertake a major quest with three key steps:

• Become the Chosen One
• Brew a legendary potion with Alva
• Destroy the Tower

The Chosen One:

The castle area in the village becomes accessible to players who have village citizenship or unleashed the Princess upon the guards. There, Sobu waits for the coming of the Chosen One, to whom he will unveil the darkest mysteries of the tower.

Once Sobu recognizes Von Wanst as the Chosen One, there will be a new way to enter the tower as well.

Brew a Potion:

The witch Alva will help brew a special potion to aid in your quest.

Destroy the Tower:

The Chosen One can finally access Evelius’s lair and, through it, the source of his power. Von Wanst and Evelius will have one last epic battle, culminating in a canonical ending for Lucky Tower Ultimate.

New Locations in 1.0:

• The Castle, including the throne room
• Evelius’s lair

Additionally, this update also includes:

• More than 600 new voice lines
• New music for the recent locations
• 10 new achievements, taking the total to 99 overall
