The RPCS3 have been busy and just recently showcased various improvements to the open source PlayStation 3 emulator running on handheld gaming PCs.
We actually wrote about their handheld plans recently, along with making it easier to use with Steam and now they've done a full showcase of the new handheld improvements. Before now, it worked quite well on handhelds but it was clear it needed improvements to feel like a better fit with the smaller screens.
In the video description the developers noted: "For the past few weeks, our lead developers have been focusing on redesigning the ingame overlay of the emulator and we're announcing these updates with this video!
Everything shown is already available, just update RPCS3 and give it a try!"
The main changes include: a much better in-game overlay experience, making it far easier to use on the smaller screens. And, changing settings is a lot faster now too so you can find the best for each game plus there's the new Steam shortcuts feature too so you can just launch games directly from Steam.
