Valve just put up a Beta for Proton 11, the next major release of their compatibility layer to run Windows games on Linux / SteamOS. This brings with it quite a lot of enhancements, with it being based on Wine 11 it also brings with it support for the new NTSync which in some cases can improve game performance (but don't expect huge gains here).

They also appear to have released the ARM64 build of Proton too with FEX, which is now available to install in your Steam Library which is no doubt work towards the Steam Frame. But, it should work on any ARM64 machine.

Some really incredible work has gone into this release. Gaming on Linux continues to get steady improvements!

How to get Proton 11? You can just search for it in your Steam Library on any Linux / SteamOS system. Then install it, and you can set it on individual games to test via their Properties -> Compatibility section in Steam.

Deadly Premonition, if it works out of the box, is a very significant change.
That means it's a game that now runs better on Linux than Windows.
Hopefully it still works after DPFix tweaks too.
