Thankfully, it seems that Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic will be one to keep on your watch list if you're not a fan of generative AI.
While the game is still quite some ways off, I am seriously excited for Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic. Coming from Arcanaut Studios, which was founded by Casey Hudson who was Project Director on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and the Mass Effect trilogy which are some of my all-time favourites - there's a lot of history going into this one.
Speaking to Bloomberg (paywalled), Hudson mentioned: "I just find AI to be creatively soulless. It's hard to imagine where it’s actually helpful in the process. I’m just really unimpressed with it". Hudson also mentioned it won't take hundreds of hours to get through it, but there will be plenty to discover in multiple goes.
The original teaser is below if you missed it:

Direct Link
As for when it might release, going by a post from Hudson on X - at least sometime before 2030.
The bad: At least sometime before 2030.
The ugly: Me 😭
Jokes aside, the original KoToRs and the Mass Effect trilogy are also within my all-time favs, I'm really hoping for this one to be amazing.
Not something I wish on the devs, but this is a bold statement that's smack in the middle of the honeymoon stage of development. Yeah, sure.
This game better be good.
The Mandalorian and Grogu movie is expected to flop worse than the Solo movie, that should tell everything of the state of Star Wars
