Croteam and Devolver Digital have revealed The Talos Principle 3, the final chapter of the thought-provoking first-person puzzle series. This one seems to push things in a slightly wilder and more alien direction, and it will admit I am quite excited to see what they come up with for the finale.

In the press release they mentioned it will be "coming soon" to PC and PlayStation 5. It will have the usual puzzle solving where it gets more complex the further you get into it. From their description of it:

"As if awakening from a troubled sleep, you find yourself in a strange, contradictory world of crumbling temples and abandoned science outposts: the Anomaly, the only place in the universe where the laws of physics don't work as they should. Your memories are fragmented, but you know you came here for a reason.

Tasked with solving a series of increasingly complex puzzles, you will relive your life as an explorer, and with it, the history of the world that humanity built. Some say the Anomaly is Heaven. Some say it’s Hell. All that’s certain is that judgement awaits."

The "coming soon" is probably one with an extended definition. The description of the video says next year. Talos 2 released in November, so if that's the case here as well it's still 18 months away. But that would give it four years of development time, which sounds reasonable.
