Protect the dungeon in the biggest update to Legend of Keepers yet

In preparation for the full launch planned for next year, the rogue-lite dungeon manager Legend of Keepers gets a massive upgrade with plenty of new content.

Legend of Keepers is a tactical dungeon management game where you play as the bad guys. You're the Boss of the Dungeons Defending Department and you're in charge of protecting the company's treasures against pesky heroes! Plan your defences by placing traps and monsters across various rooms and in between battles deal with all the team management issues.

The latest update adds in:

  • New Master: the Engineer - brand new story and gameplay focused on Subject 9001 aka Lira
  • New Dungeon environment: the Cursed Temple
  • New Monsters: the Mechas
  • A plethora of new traps
  • A brand new game mode archetypes system

It appears to be doing very well, as we were told over email they've managed to sell over 80,000 copies and when you look on Steam it's reviewing well by users too.

They also announced an exclusive monster will be given out to subscribers of their newsletter, which you can sign up for to get updates on their website.

The game has grown a lot since I got it this summer and seems to have a lot less rough edges. It has beautiful pixel art and they've managed to pin down that roguelike replayability while feeling better balanced than games like monster train so it has felt more strategically rewarding personally. There will apparently be a proper ascension difficulty system of some sort arriving later which I'm excited for since that will add upper difficulty I've wanted in that pleasing progress style. If it helps any of you judge my small review I've got thousands of hours in slay the spire, a few hundred in monster train and a ton generally in roguelikes.
