The day has landed folks. Borderlands 2 is now officially available for Linux and it brings us some excellent FPS action.

It took longer than we ever hoped, but Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition is finally in opt-in beta for Linux.

Shadowrun Online was confirmed to be heading to Linux, but the question has always remained when? They use Unity much like a lot of developers now, but noted Unity's Linux support still needed some work for them to be comfortable releasing a Linux version. Luckily now it looks be "soon". UPDATED.

We already knew that the Linux version of Divinity: Original Sin wouldn't be out at the same time as Windows, but we didn't know when at all. Users have been asking them about it a lot recently and they still claim it's going to be this year.

Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues is a great looking RPG currently in pre-alpha that has Linux builds available, and it needs help to get on Steam. The game is being created by a team that includes Richard "Lord British" Garriott the creator of the Ultima series.

Even though we still haven't gotten the Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition the developer has noted on twitter that Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition is already in testing for Linux, and it's promising.

Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut is the standalone and reworked version of Shadowrun: Dragonfall with new missions, a revamped combat system and more.

Torment: Tides of Numenera is another game heading to Linux from inXile entertainment that was funded on Kickstarter. They have released a new video to show off just how amazing it looks.

Hammerwatch is a pretty good-looking hack & slash dungeon crawling action game that has just been updated to include a free expansion!

Keeping track of the Linux port of Dead Island shows that the developers are working pretty hard on it.

I'll get right to the point -- why do I think Stash: No Loot Left Behind deserves a penguin clan? The game is currently being funded on Kickstarter and only needs a little push!

Double Fine's charming RPG-come-puzzle game, Hack 'n' Slash has left Steam Early Access and is now released, along with Lua sources for engine scripts and Steam Workshop Support.

The Witcher 2 was released on GOG for Linux recently for DRM free fans, but sadly it was an older version that the GOG team put up. With all the performance improvements in the new versions it was needing an update. GOG have contacted us to let us know a patch is now available.

Chasm is the excellent looking RPG Platformer from Discord Games that will be launching into early access soon, and luckily the Linux release will come too.

The Witcher 2 for Linux is now fully DRM-free and available to buy from GOG, but be warned the GOG team accidentally put up an older version.

Sword of the Stars: The Pit is now available on Linux, but not the Vanilla edition to avoid confusion.

Costume Quest 2 has officially opened the pre-order flood gates on Steam, and it looks like a Day 1 Linux release is upon us.
