Another month, and another Steam Hardware Survey. Linux is currently sitting at 0.85%, so there's a small drop.

Oh yes! Darkest Dungeon is now an instant buy for many I'm sure as it has arrived on Linux in Beta form. Lots of people have been waiting for this gothic roguelike turn-based RPG.

You may or may not remember that I recently broke the news that Two Worlds II was finally coming to Linux & SteamOS along with major engine upgrades. The better news is that it's going to be on GOG for Linux, and have less annoying restrictions.

Something I have been speaking about with Topware since 2013 is finally going to happen! Two Worlds II is getting a major engine upgrade, with new DLC and SteamOS & Linux support too.

Valve have pushed out SteamOS 2.67 beta with some minor but useful changes to the compositor, pulseaudio and boot-up. It also fixes as an issue with The Talos Principle.

Guy Lunardi of Collabora went to the New York Linux Users Group (NYLUG) to do a talk on SteamOS. Check out the video.

Valve have announced SteamOS, their own operating system based on Debian Linux that will be placed on a variety of gaming machines due for release in 2014.
