It seems the Linux port of Banished isn't dead, far from it in fact. The developer just so happens to be working on other stuff at the same time.

I was shared an email from the Block'hood developers today that states their neighborhood-building simulator should arrive on Linux next week.

Cities: Skylines - Natural Disasters is another expansion for the hit city builder, prepare for mother nature to come calling.

I've been following Hearthlands for quite some time and I supported them quite early on, so it's really great to see the little city builder evolve. It has a new trailer and update ready.

I really liked Retro-Pixel Castles when I played it initially last year, and after trying it again now it has had some major updates I have some more thoughts on it.

The developer of Banished has written an official blog post on the Linux & Mac porting progress, and it's sounding really great.

I love city/town building games like Banished, Settlers and the like, so a brand new one on Linux was too good to pass up. Here we go with Villagers!

The second expansion to the highly-successful city builder has arrived, bringing with it snowy tidings. Besides introducing new buildings and features, the expansion is released alongside a patch for all players that adds free content.

Cities: Skylines looks like it's getting some really great support, and with a free update coming soon we will get access to a new Theme Editor. We also have a video with some of the Snowfall expansion gameplay.

I only learnt about Valhalla Hills recently, as they stealth-added a Linux version just before the official release. GOG sent over a key for this interesting Unreal Engine city-builder strategy game, so I took a look.

The excitement is building within me about this, as I've wanted to try the harsh city builder Banished ever since I first heard about it.

Cities: Skylines was already a pretty big game, and now it is simply huge thanks to a big free patch and the first expansion.
