Into the Restless Ruins is a rather different dungeon crawler, one where you build the dungeon over time with a deck of cards you continue to gather and upgrade.

StarVaders from developer Pengonauts is a colourful and action-packed mix of a deck-builder with fast grid-based tactical combat and it's a thoroughly great time. I've never seen another game so smoothly blend these two together. I'm hooked on it.

From the original creative team behind the Hand of Fate series, Hordes of Fate : A Hand of Fate Adventure is a mixture of deck-building and auto-shooting as yet another developer attempts to put their own spin on Vampire Survivor-like action.

We're getting totally spoiled with unique deck-builders lately like Moonsigil Atlas that I really can't wait for. And now Devolver Digital announced they're publishing Shroom and Gloom with a demo up now and it's glorious.

Moonsigil Atlas has a demo out now and it's already shot right up to the top of my wishlist. The idea of fusing a Slay the Spire styled deck-builder with something sort-of Tetris-like is just incredibly slick.

Another strategy game with trains? Sign me up. Break Siege from FojoGames just hit Early Access and looks like it could be another good one.

My new favourite deck-builder? Could well be. Starless Abyss released late in April from Konafa Games and No More Robots blending together the worlds of Eldritch horror and deck-builders in a space strategy theme.

Probably the absolute weirdest deck-builder I've ever played, COMBOLITE is all about repeatedly hitting a rock to score points and activate special combos to score even more points.
