We already let you know last month that Battleblock Theatre would have a Linux version, the best news is the date is now set for the release and it will be simultaneous on Linux & Windows.

You may remember that I spoke to the developer of the awesome goat simulator (joking) puzzle platformer Escape Goat 2 after the first week about their Linux sales. The good news is after a month sales for Linux are still good.

Sadly this one seems to have been missed, it was released last month for Linux, but as it's not a brand new game (only new to Linux) it didn't pop up as new to Linux on Steam. Ballpoint Universe Infinite is a shoot-em-up adventure game featuring artwork entirely drawn in ballpoint pen.

Sipping on absinthe in a dark and potentially dangerous place doesn't seem like a good idea. But then again Spate is already pretty weird, so why not spice it up a bit more? Let's see what this piece of mystery and weirdness has to offer.

Spate is a very unusual looking platformer with a full-story about the death of your daughter and your battle with alcoholism. It has some of the most fantastic looking back-drops i've ever seen for a platformer.

Remember You Have to Win the Game? The fun super-retro platformer I did a video of? Well Super Win the Game has been announced as a sequel, I can't wait!

The community manager for Unepic a fun looking 2D Platformer-RPG has confirmed that the Linux port has made "good headway", so we should hopefully see it this year.

Escape Goat 2 is now available on Linux from developer Ian Stocker, I put it through its paces to see if it's a good goat simulator or not. Spoiler: It's not a good goat simulator, but it is a good game.

Being an astronaut and exploring planets far away would be awesome, but sadly becoming an astronaut is really difficult and there won't be any missions to Mars or even Moon for a long time. Oh well, luckily we still have games that allow us to do that.
