This was originally going to be an article detailing all the improvements to Planet Nomads, sadly I've had to rewrite this due to the fact of the Linux version being mostly broken.
This is bad news for my free time. Reassembly is a highly addictive spaceship building and exploration game, one that just had a big performance update.
Nimbatus - The Space Drone Constructor, as the name might suggest, has you building drones, which you can directly control or give them some autonomous features. The closed alpha is extremely promising and a lot of fun to play with.
Minecraft's rather large 'Update Aquatic' content update came out recently and it came with their fancy new launcher, getting it on Linux and keeping it up to date is now a snap.
Thanks to a tip from madpinger in our Discord Channel, we were shown Kubifaktorium. It looks like a pretty interesting mix of a city-builder with elements of Factorio.
Project 5: Sightseer had me utterly hooked at the start, but after a while it fell a bit flat. Seems the developer really was hard at work to improve it dramatically as this latest update shows.
RocketWerkz, the studio founded by Dean "Rocket" Hall will seriously consider a Linux version of their detailed space station construction and management game Stationeers if it gets more sales.
I'm still terrible at it but there's a lot of charm to Make Sail and the steady improvements have been impressive. This latest update is a rather nice one.
