I'm pretty excited for Monster Crown, the new monster taming game with inspirations taken from Pokemon and other monster capturing related games. The Kickstarter has done very well and there's now a Linux demo for backers.
The long-awaited update to the farming role-playing game should be out soon enough if all goes well. Multiplayer is a highlight but there will be other new features to look forward to as well.
For The King, a strategic RPG that has turn-based combat along with procedural maps, quests, and events looks like it's being prepped for a Linux version as the final release is soon.
Following a successful crowdfunding campaign several years ago, this 2d metroidvania has grown and matured as a project. I had a chance to play a closed beta and things look promising.
