Good news Rocket League fans, as it seems the game will be out on SteamOS & Linux before the Xbox One version, and it's looking like it will be end of January to early February.
Exciting news for FPS fans. The Arma 3 developers have updated everyone on what's happening with the Linux port, and it looks like they are even going to work on the BattlEye anti-cheat system.
I am super excited for both the Enhanced Edition upgrade of Dying Light and The Following DLC. Both will make an already good game, even better. Check out these two newer videos.
Turok: Dinosaur Hunter takes the best from the N64 and PC versions, puts them into a new engine and then released into the wild. It looks like the developers are planning a Linux release too.
Not quite as bad news as the Rocket League delay, but Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition for Linux & SteamOS is being held up by some memory corruption issues. UPDATED.
I'm not entirely sure if this is an accidental slip, or if Feral Interactive are preparing to release Medieval II: Total War on Linux, but their radar updated today to say Medieval II: Total War is out on Mac and Linux, but it's currently not. UPDATED.
Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna) is a beautiful looking atmospheric puzzle platformer about finding the source of a never-ending blizzard. Looks like it will come to Linux now too!
SteamDB is a bit like a drug for some of us waiting on games, and today my usual check-in resulted in finding PAYDAY 2 with some nice looking Linux additions.
XCOM is not only one of my favourite Feral ports on Linux, but it's also one of my most played and favourite games ever. XCOM 2 now has a brand new trailer, and wow, I'm excited.
I'm going to be honest, I had never heard of InSomnia, but it was sent in by a reader and I'm certainly interested now. An RPG set on a massive space station, with good looking graphics that's now planned for a same-day Linux release!
I'm a big fan of Dying Light, even with it being a bit iffy at times for me, but the general gameplay is fantastic. The developers have announced a newer Dying Light: Enhanced Edition is coming
Goat Simulator, ahh what a strange game it is, stranger that people actually buy it and like it! Personally not a fan, as it's too stupid for me, but the new trailer caught my interest.
We all love a bit of speculation now and then (okay, some really don't, but I do), and to me it looks like the Saints Row series will all launch on Linux together.
