By - | Views: 5,793
Velocity 2X is a great looking shoot em up that was previously only on Sony consoles, and now FuturLab is teaming up with Sierra to bring it to other platforms, and that includes us too!

QuoteWe’re working with Sierra to bring Velocity 2X to PC/Mac/Linux and Xbox One! That is to say the port is being done by us, and being published by Sierra.

Here's a trailer of what to expect:

About the game (Official)
Velocity 2X is the sci-fi platformer and shoot ‘em-up in one adventure, available now for PS Vita and PS4!

This critically acclaimed sequel to Velocity Ultra weaves together two classic game formats into one seamless adventure, featuring puzzle-platforming action alongside award-winning top-down shoot ‘em-up gameplay!

It's great to see more developers and publishers get into pushing out games on Linux.

In relation to other certain other Activision-related articles recently, I wonder if the guys at Blizzard are watching to see how well Sierra's titles do on Linux.

I'm no fan of retro gaming, but these kind of games are the exception to that rule. Fantastically looking shoot-em-ups are awesome for a gaming break, and this game looks to be exactly that.
