Whenever I try to open the "Configure M&B: Warband" window it just insta-crashes. I don't really need it, but how do I change to Viking Conquest manually? Thanks!

I have been having issues getting this game to launch. The error I got while running the config seemed to indicate that the 32 bit libraries were missing. What I did was try to run the file thru the terminal in order to see the error that it is reporting. I think copied the missing file and did an internet search on it. You might want to try something similar.
