How to setup OpenMW for modern Morrowind on Linux / SteamOS and Steam Deck
How to install Hollow Knight: Silksong mods on Linux, SteamOS and Steam Deck
my distro is Lubuntu 15.04 vivid and my laptop is an hp elitebook 8530p
If I do manage to get it working I'll post how I did it.
Arch linux 64bit rolling, wine 1.7.45
I kind of stopped playing it due to this, and moved onto try to win some of the other 1000+ games I have in steam.... same reason I stopped sinking time into any online games, Ha!
I really liked playing STO though.
Fedora 22
Wine 1.7.47
Basically the easiest way is to do it this way:
winetricks steam
Install Star Trek Online from that.
The arc version has some issues. yes, the game is VERY playable. Is it laggy? If you play for six hours straight, it'll get laggy. No one's figured out why.
However one thing to be aware of.. the initial loading screen? Expect it to take quite awhile on the first load. Took mine about 15 to 30 minutes on average to get through it. After that, it pretty much loads quick. It's just that first time for some reason takes forever.
