Quoting: liamdaweI'm waiting on Albion Online https://www.albiononline.com/ I really hope it does well.

Looks interesting although the fact that it's available on iOS and Android has me a little bit worried it might be lack luster. Then again I don't know much about it I just know Mobile games generally are.

You should watch some videos on it, as it actually looks really good despite also aiming for mobile platforms.

QuoteHey there! Steam integration has been coming for a while, Valve was in our office here in Orange County back in January. We are trying to get Wildstar to be THE MMO for Steamboxes, IE, Wildstar will be preinstalled with every system. It should be happening before the China launch that's for sure.

Looks like we might get a native Wildstar client soon, if we are lucky :)

Dude, that's like 4 months old and I've heard bugger all since then.

Yea and if you google wildstar on linux all you get is stuff for wine. It still looks good but if nothing else I'll look at albion. I just never put too much faith in mobile but if you say it it's actually not bad then I'll go check it out.

Ryzom looks very interesting, somehow I've never heard of it before. I'll definitely take a look.

I love Shroud of the Avatar:

https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com

They don't describe it as an MMO, rather as selective multiplayer.

Sure, its not as graphically nice as Wildstar and others, but it already has great depth even in pre-alpha (or what they describe as pre-alpha, which seems to vary amongst game developers :)).

Stash: No Loot Left Behind
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/frogdice/stash-no-adventurer-left-behind-pc-mac-linux/
is a promising very-non-mainstream MMO that is currently running a campaign trying to get more people on board for betas (I was in the alphas, and their support for Linux was kept equal with the other platforms).

The graphics have some style and charm, though much lower budget even than Shroud of the Avatar, but the real appeal is it's inspired by RPG board games rather being like most MMOs. So if you like (or think you might like) co-op turn-based combat you should take a look.

I'm playing Project : Gorgon and Wild Terra. Both are in alpha and in active developpement. I'd say Gorgon is already a "full MMOG", while Wild Terra is more a concept in production, but they are both playable right now. No subscription, but an one time entrance fee.
