Title: Firewatch Performance on AMD
PublicNuisance 11 Apr 2016
Has anybody played the Linux version of Firewatch on an AMD GPU ? I am just looking to see what kind of performance I can expect. I have an R9 390 myself.

I played it on release with a 250X and got 20-30 fps on 1080p mid settings (Catalyst) so i think you are fine with 390 :D

It's pretty GPU intensive, but I played it on Nvidia (GOG release).

You seem closest to my GPU so far. I'm at 1080P so hopefully I can manage 60 FPS on ultra.

So I purchased Firewatch recently. Great game, really enjoyed it. I couldn't even run it on the Catalyst drivers. It would freeze just after choosing to start a new game. Ended up having to play it on Windows. tried it on 2 seperate systems with the same issue, only common trait was Catalyst drivers in Linux.
