As per topic I get the mail every time I login via steam on my home network from my mobile.

Can you turn that off? It's getting annoying

But the SAME up with the same device hardly qualifies as a new login tho?

If you're not allowing cookies to be saved using some form of private browsing then it will give you the email message.

I am using standard settings for chrome (android 6.0.1) and not in private mode.

Well either your IP keeps changing or your cookies arent being saved, check both?

I have static IP so that's not changing, no idea how to check for cookies on mobile but they work for other sites just fine.

Not sure if it's related but when I login via steam the page always says "You are already logged in!" Of course I wasn't the option to login would not be visible

Found out how to check seems no cookie has ever been set for this site. But cookies are enabled and a ton of other sites set cookies.

Maybe something goes wrong during login with openid/steam and the site forgets to send the cookie?

Very interesting, thanks for keeping at it. You may well have found a bug there.

I have added an issue to our gitlab to remind me to look into it. Will post here when I have an update for you.

For now you can just uncheck the box in the UserCP.

This has now been fixed BTW, was an issue with Steam logins not checking things correctly.

Login code has been improved, shouldn't happen with any login now.
