Awesome news for those of us here that are a little older. COMMODORE USA ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF AMIGA EXCLUSIVE WORLDWIDE LICENSING RIGHTS! This means that Commodore USA will be making new Amiga Branded computers. I know for some this isn't very exciting but it means a lot to me as I spent a lot of days on my Amiga 500 playing Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Narc and many others. If your an old (very old) school gamer this should put a smile on your face. And for the Foss fans it seems these machines will be Compatible with the AROS project.

Nice find, i had an Amiga 600 and an Amiga 1200 awesome machines, i actually miss those days.
Had some amazing games - remember emerald mine?
Wait a second Amiga and commodore are still alive?
I am georgian, computers here aren't really old so i don't know much :(
They are still alive if barely. If you never had the chance to play with one I would suggest trying to find an older one. Last year I was able to pick up two work Amiga 500 for 50 bucks, Came with like 300 games too :).
I certainty do and now that you have reminded me of it I am going to have to go find it.
My memorys of amigas are solid lump of the games pegasus, flashback, another world, pushover, lemmings and zool ^^
I was looking at an amiga based os for pcs the other day. Aros i think... Must give that a try at the weekend :)
I really wanna give Amiga OS4 a try but I don't have any hardware it will run on.
Zool!! That was hellofa game, i really need to find me an emulator and get some old school Amiga gaming on the go!
if you have a spare partition on pc try Aros OS. Amiga based and has a 64 bit version with grub2 and is meant to be backwards compatible with everything pre amiga 3.4 i think. :)
64 bit amd that is. Sorry cant see edit button and am browisng forum on phone ^^
Might have to do that, But I need to find something that can run PPC OSs anyway. There are a few I would like to take a look at.
