The response:
So, the question would be is Gabe trolling or are they working on an as yet unannounced Linux build of steam and/or source.
Still, I am just sitting back and watching the fur fly myself. ;)

seems to be legit this time..alltho its quite close to 1st of april
True, but after like 20 people on the phoronix forums said they got a reply back from gabe I figured "Either michael has a lot of sock puppets or lots of people are getting replies", so I figured "why not" and sent one. I still figure Gabe's doing a massive Linux troll for april fools :(
Is there anything that connects wiki.tf to Valve and/or Steam? Though it obviously looks like a Steam store page, it's not.
On another note, the Steam Hardware & Software Survey has had a bug in the prompting process for some time, which effected the randomness of sampling (apparently only people who had previously been in the survey would receive a prompt). It's my guess that this goes as far back as prior to the Steam system profiler working under Wine. There are a bunch of interesting statistics that have appeared in the March survey results that were not in previous results.
The Steam Hardware & Software survey results can be found [here](http://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey). Of particular interest are a new "unknown" operating system, a new piece of audio hardware with a blank title, a range of new MSAA values (you need to view the Windows only stats to see this), and a few other bits and pieces.
Also, I try to maintain a list of details/info about the survey [here](http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1938012).
Interesting to see an Unknown operating system on the list, It must be Linux as they list all Windows and Mac versions...
That said, Valve launched their Linux development blog today. You can find more current discussion and links on our news post about it :)
