Just found out about this new RTS. Looks great
http://www.oilrush-game.com/
I very briefly checked it out before work this morning, graphics look brilliant but we will soon see what the gameplay is like.
Personally i WILL be getting it, will post it on the front page when i get home, did pick it up a while before but haven't had time to post it as news.
I have never been big on 3D RTS games, but I will keep my eye on it simply because it is from Unigine.
that look pretty awesome, it's not finished yet i guess?
Apparently its in the final stages of development.
The game will be finished in Q4 2010 according to their website.
I think I'm going to buy this game if it won't be too expensive ;)
The game is made by russian guys from tomsk, nice to hear :)
If its under 45, I will likely buy it. Provided it lives up to the expectations it has set.
Moire details about the game have been revealed by Phoronix:

Larabel also managed to get this out of Unigine's CEO:
I was quite pleased to hear that the other project is not dead. No offence to OilRush, but the screen-shots for the other game looked more like my own personal cup of tea.
I hate those guys after lies about steam
Well, Michael still insists that Steam will come to GNU/Linux.
So until it won't come, you can't call him a lair.
BTW
I heard WoW is going to have a native GNU/Linux client.
Just Kidding
:D
Well technically WoW had a Linux client...they just axed it because of "support costs".
I am personally extremely torn about Mike and his Steam stuff.
I personally do not have an opinion either which way as to whether Steam is coming to Linux or not. But bashing all of Phoronix for a few articles seems a bit much to me. After all, without them no one here probably would have heard about Unigine. And the vast majority of the articles are worth reading. Larabel does seem to "jump the gun" a bit much, but that does not change the fact that Phoronix is still the best source for the latest in Linux technical developments and benchmarking.
And who knows, Larabel could be vindicated on Steam yet. Valve does say it has "three surprises" coming in the next year.
Apparently there were even negotiations started with LGP about publishing it.

Whether or no you like their games or not, there is no question that Blizzards Suits are evil.
I would never bash everything, just certain topics when he uses the word "confirmed" I still read and enjoy his site a lot.
Valves three surprises could be big updates to existing games, sequels etc. I know one of them is going to their their DoTA game (think HoN). Could be nothing to do with Linux.
